Apple Pomegranate Salad

December 18, 2018 Doreen 4 Comments

Apple Pomegranate Salad is a beautiful dish that the children enjoy because it is so tasty and I enjoy because it is so quick and healthy! I don’t give any specific amounts because the nice thing about this recipe is that you just use what you have on hand and make just as much as your family needs!

Apple Pomegranate Salad

  • Apples
  • Pomegranate
  • Plain yogurt

Core and chop apples into small chunks. Place apple chunks in a serving bowl. Open pomegranate and place the seeds over the apples. Spoon as much yogurt as you want over the top and stir in gently.

Variations:

~You may add honey and vanilla to the yogurt if you want a sweeter salad.

~Use the fruit you have on hand. This basic idea works with whatever you have in your fruit bowl. Chunk it up and dress it with yogurt and enjoy!

We like them too. I used to think they were too expensive but I started finding them marked down at our local grocery! This salad is a way to STRETCH them a little!
